My favorite general use term for describing a logical grouping of data. I use this term, because it feels like it puts you in a mindset of the physical object* that is being described by the data, rather than using a term that indicates the data's technical implementation. Just because I used a relational model and saved the entity in a table, doesn't mean I should always refer to tables and influence others technical thinking. *Object was another term I considered, but it is firmly in my list of [[Overloaded Technical Terms]], so let's not add another definition to the pile*
